In my 20 years of coaching and consulting, the work around money always seems to come up. Honestly, I am passionate about prosperity and people getting right in their relationship with money. What I have discovered is that we’re all on a journey, and at some point or another, money trips us up. Very few of us come to the world without any money hang ups or triggers.
Either we have too much money and feel guilty about it or for many of us, it’s about having too little, not enough and it not sticking around. Yes, there are great tips and tricks you can learn from financial gurus, but I’m in the game of financial abundance and prosperity.
In the conversation of money, it’s really about who you are with it and developing a particular kind of Abundance Consciousness for money to come into your life and stick around.
In relationships, if you are not taking into consideration the needs of your partner, or for example in dance, not taking the lead (or being a receptive follower), then it’s not going to work well, right?
Same is true with money. Money is energy and you have to learn how to work with it in a way that serves you (and everyone around you). Like any relationship, you need to know how to work with it for it to be successful. In your relationship with money, it needs to be respected, valued and you need to pay attention to it, while at the same time not be too attached.
These are long standing spiritual and metaphysical laws that I look forward to sharing with you on how to have a joyous and freeing relationship with money.
I love to share all of the tools and practices I use in cultivating an Abundance Consciousness. Here is one of my favorite tools that really gets to the heart of who you are (or are not) being with money, can make the million dollar difference for you and your business.
Allow yourself to consider for a moment that you were an owner of a million dollar business. As someone who owns a million dollar business, what kinds of decisions would you be making right now? How would a million dollar business owner handle balancing their checkbook? How would a million dollar business owner handle a client who doesn't pay on time or doesn't respect boundaries? How would this mindset impact your business model, office, infrastructure, environment, friends, community, routine, practices, clothes, car, etc?
Asking yourself what a million dollar owner does and having this question in the forefront will have you shift your consciousness in a major way.
You will start seeing what you have been putting up with in your business, where you have been putting your focus (or where it may need to be), and quite possibly the ways that you have been distracting yourself from your business.
Also consider the possibility that you may need more support with administrative help, a marketing team, a better website, etc. Where can you be asking for help or setting yourself up for greater success if you had someone else handling other tasks?
So when you are thinking from a Million Dollar Mindset you begin to look for ways where you can get support so that you can focus more on the delivery of what you are passionate about and your unique brilliance.
If you find this tool helpful, I’d love to hear about what you can now see as a result of asking yourself these questions. I look forward to reading your comments below.
