Transforming Your Blueprint and Beliefs About Money

Transforming Your Blueprint and Beliefs About Money

A wooden sign with the words live your lifeEach of us has a personal money and success blue print ingrained in our subconscious. Verbal programming, modeling from others and specific incidents contribute to our money story and beliefs. For many of us, these beliefs have been passed down from generation to generation. How do we become free of these limiting beliefs about money and allow ourselves to create new ones?

Let’s begin with identifying some of our beliefs about money. Which ones are yours?

Please be rigorously honest with yourself!

  • Stating my fees loses clients
  • If I ask a client to get current with their payment, they will get mad and not pay me; better to keep quiet.
  • You can’t get wealthy doing exactly what you love.
  • When a client questions my fees or the value of my services it means that I should lower them because I want to serve them.
  • I always want to be of service to my clients so it is better to always accommodate them when they ask for a discount.
  • It occurs as greedy when asking for a non-refundable deposit from a client.
  • It is better to get a client than to hold firm to your fees.
  • I need to keep my fees at the low to medium end of the market to get more clients.
  • People/clients will respect me more if I don’t raise my fees.
  • People will hire me more often if I give away services without charging them and/or overload my packaged services with a lot of items.
  • It is always better to ask the question, “how much will this cost me? vs. how much will this make me?â€
  • Having a lot of money will make me less spiritual or pure.

Beliefs are thoughts held to be true. Beliefs are not true or true, right or false.

Beliefs are only strong opinions and they can be empowering or dis-empowering.

Your life is an out-picturing of your beliefs. So now take each one of these 12 beliefs and transform them into empowering ones. For instance, “Stating my fees attracts more of my ideal clients†or, “When I ask a client to get current with their payment, this supports their integrity as well as mineâ€.

So let’s see what you come up with and post them on the blog.

Have fun!
